Position Summary

As an experienced SAP Syniti Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work products within defined timelines. Based on project needs, you may mentor or guide junior team members and collaborate with onsite/offshore teams to understand functional requirements.

Work You’ll Do

As part of the Data team, you will:

• Understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.

• Develop documentation, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) jobs.

• Provide support to functional teams during functional unit testing cycles.

• Assist with data cutover and migration activities.

• Collaborate with functional teams for issue resolution.

• Design and build data discovery, extraction, mapping, transformation, and loading processes.

• Work with tools such as BackOffice (DSP) Data Stewardship Platform, CranSoft, SAP Data Services (BODS), SQL Server Management Studio, SAP LSMW, SAP LTMC, and SAP Migration Cockpit.

• Use Microsoft SQL for queries, table structuring, and relational database management.

• Execute data migration activities using SAP ADM by Syniti / CranSoft / BODS, including data analysis, profiling, and conversion planning.

• Generate export files, cleansing reports, and functional design documentation related to data migration.

• (Optional) Perform system administration on the DSP Platform.

• Coordinate with other capability leads for cross-skilling and knowledge sharing.

• Work with SAP and non-SAP technologies, including HANA queries and analytics tools.

• Demonstrate business process knowledge across SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, and PM.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 3 to 6 years of experience in SAP Data Services (BODS).

• Hands-on experience with SAP Advanced Data Migration (ADM) by Syniti.

• Strong expertise in BODS and DSP (ETL) concepts.

• Experience developing data migration jobs with SAP as source or target.

• In-depth understanding of ETL concepts and conversion objects.

• Familiarity with data migration tools and processes.

• Experience producing pre-load/post-load reports using Syniti ADM.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with SQL Server Management Studio.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in 2–3 full-cycle data migration projects targeting SAP ERP using dspMigrate or Syniti ADM.

• Hands-on experience with ETL projects involving multiple SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PI, etc.).

• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data migration life cycles.

• Proficiency in documentation and data management practices.

• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to ownership and delivery.

Education

• BE/B.Tech / M.C.A. / M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
