Job Description

The SAP Senior PM Consultant will lead and support end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support for the SAP PM module in enterprise environments. This role involves designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Plant Maintenance solutions, collaborating closely with business process owners to drive operational excellence and reliability in asset management and maintenance processes. The consultant is expected to deliver value by identifying business opportunities, recommending best practices, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.​
  • Conduct workshops, requirement analysis, and process mapping with business stakeholders and end users to capture and validate business needs.​
  • Manage integration and interoperability of PM processes with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, QM, and FI.​
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams during rollouts, upgrades, and ongoing support activities; act as a key SME (subject matter expert) for the PM module.​
  • Drive change management, end-user training, and documentation to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement of SAP PM solutions.​

Must Have

  • Deep, hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP PM modules, including objects such as Equipment, Functional Locations, Work Orders, Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, and Notifications.​
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end SAP PM implementations, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live.​
  • Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability business processes, with an ability to translate business needs into system solutions.​
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM/PM environments and knowledge of integration points with other modules (e.g., MM, FI, PP).​
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on user training, support, and change management.​

Nice to have

  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Automotive industries, especially with global or multi-site implementations.​
  • Proficiency with SAP data migration tools (LSMW, BDC) and understanding of master data management processes.​
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Migration strategies, and Experience with cloud-based SAP deployment.​
  • Familiarity with additional SAP modules such as CS (Customer Service), MM (Materials Management), or QM (Quality Management).​
  • SAP certification in Plant Maintenance or relevant technical/functional modules; multi-lingual abilities are a plus.​​
