 1.      LOCATION : Offshore - preference is to have someone from one of these cities in India where we have approved Ford ODCs – Chennai or Bangalore or Hyderabad, in that order mentioned below.

2.      WORK in office : Ford’s revised RTW mandate went live last week globally, and India associates are expected to be in the office 4 days a week, please ensure the candidate is okay on that client expectation

  • Guide the product team in implementation approaches best suited to Agiloft product capabilities
  • Drive system configuration and deployment activities across the engagement.
  • Assist business in gathering requirements and define metadata and other elements that needs to be provided to implementation team.
  • Assist in system configuration and deployment activities across the engagement.
  • Validate and test the required changes – functional and integration testing
  • Assist with Users on any configuration changes
  • Agiloft enhancements, maintenance cycles and production support

Job Description


A Senior SAP MM Consultant leads and manages the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions to optimize procurement, inventory, and material management processes. The role spans end-to-end project life cycles, from business requirements gathering and process design to solution configuration and post-go-live support. This consultant ensures seamless integration with other SAP modules and collaborates cross-functionally to drive process improvements, compliance, and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP MM functionalities for procurement, inventory management, purchasing, and vendor management.​
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops, document business needs, and translate them into robust SAP MM solutions.​
  • Drive integration with related SAP modules (SD, FI, WM, PP, QM) to enable end-to-end supply chain operations.​
  • Provide user training, process documentation, and post-implementation support to sustain adoption and optimal use of SAP MM.​
  • Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and best practices for continuous optimization.​

Must Have

  • Advanced hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration, including procurement, inventory management, release strategies, and invoice verification.​
  • Proven record of leading or supporting at least one full-cycle SAP MM implementation, from blueprint to go-live and support.​
  • Strong understanding of integration points between MM and other SAP modules such as SD, FI, WM, PP, and QM.​
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting, process mapping, and issue resolution within MM processes.​
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate business requirements, deliver effective training, and collaborate with stakeholders.​​

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori apps, or cloud-based material management solutions.​
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging or collaboration with technical teams for enhancements and custom reports.​
  • Exposure to advanced MM processes, such as batch management, subcontracting, stock transport orders, and MRP.​
  • SAP MM certification and/or industry-specific experience in manufacturing, retail, or life sciences.​
  • Leadership, mentoring, or prior consulting experience on global/multi-site SAP implementations.​​​
